This course is to introduce the user to the fundamental principles of using Word 2007 and to provide an understanding of the power of the Word 2007 word-processing system. Can be followed by Word 2007 Intermediate and Word 2007 Advanced, also one day courses.

User Interface
Use the Office Button, Ribbons, Command Tabs and Sets and Contextual Tabs; Customise the Quick Access Toolbar
Character Formatting
Apply font styles; Use all underline options; Apply character effects; Select and change fonts and font size.
Paragraph Formatting and Tab Settings
Align tabs; Set tabs with leaders; Use indentation options.
Text Placement and Alignment
Align text horizontally and vertically; Set margins.

Text Processing
